Mike Murray
Guitarist and Lead Vocalist
Mike's passion for music started at a very young age. The riff and song that set Mike's path toward rock and metal was Hearts 1976 radio success "Crazy on you". Mike's mom Barbara was a huge influence as she was an accomplished Soprano vocalist that had the opportunity to be a signed national act, but declined due to wanting to raise her daughter without the stress of travel. Because of her passion for music, she continued to sing in church choir often bringing her youngest son Michael to both practices and services. Still driven by the rock n roll bands introduced to him by his older siblings at 13 Michael received his 1st electric guitar. He subsequently took lessons at a local chicago music store and later a guitar class in high school. It was in high school Mike discovered Iron Maiden, Anthrax, and Slayer. Mike has recorded in several bands since those early days including "F", Dimok, Anuelusion, Abstract Reality, and Resonance. Frustrated by trying to find singers, Mike hired a professional vocal coach and honed his skills as both a vocalist and guitar player. It is with this experience that he now fronts Resonance.

John's passion for the drums began at the age of 14. He learned his skill playing to Boston's 1st album, then discovered John Bonham and Led Zeppelin's 2nd album. He's been in several rock bands throughout the years and has played with very talented musicians, including the band he currently resides. His thunderous rock style of playing is matched only to his energy and enthusiasm. He aspires to entertain and engage the audience with excitement and spirit. No matter the size of the audience, he will always put the same high energy into his playing. If you've read this up to this point, let's meet after a show and have some beer and skittles!
